"Just a quick note to tell you that I love the DC-X Speakers....Now this will make you laugh, I went to the local Hi-Fi shop up here in Tamworth and sampled various speakers they had on display, none sounded particularly good, B&W, Arron Richter and such, I made a comment to the sales person that the VAF DC-X units were supposed to be 'U Beaut'. To my surprise, he agreed!!! "The sound...was nothing short of exceptional. We played our favourite CD's and it was like listening to completely re-mixed songs. Some CD's in our collection had been neglected in the past because we didn't like their sound. The I-93's gave them new life. The bass is extremely low and tight. I doubt we'll ever need to buy a subwoofer. The mid and high end sounds are perfectly matched to the woofers.....The strange thing is that no matter what the distance, the sound quality (or volume for that matter) does not degenerate....Last night I watched The Fifth Element DVD with the I-93's for the first time. I've seen this movie dozens of times, but this was different. In fact, the only thing about the movie that remained the same was the picture. The entire audio was different. There were sounds that I never knew existed, making the experience so much richer. There was plenty of impact from the bass drivers which made explosions seem all too real.
It is now my firm belief that the VAF Signature Series I-93 Speakers are the best value-for-money high-end loudspeakers in Australia......They generate the best sound that I have ever heard. In fact, they generate sounds that I have never heard using other expensive speakers. These speakers will probably last for decades, so I'm looking forward to many great years or experiencing the best sound (my) money can buy." Ken
